I create my knives from both XC75 and recycled spring steel. Using only natural materials, and mostly wood I collected in the woods, I prepare it myself and travel around France to get to the weirdest looking woods.

 

I prefer direct, simple, raw approach to knives, touching them just enough to become functionnal and nice to my eye. I don't look for "clean", well polished knives, but rather for knives with guts.

 

I work in Berry, a traditionnal countryside part of France well known for clay and for witches. I experiment with selective thermal treatments and ceramic handles.
